Hi! I'm Wonder (she/they), a songwriter, producer, and twitch streamer in Phoenix, AZ. This is my second time doing 50/90. My first FAWM was in 2021, and I had exquisite joy of participating and completing 50/90 in 2023. I got 16 songs this last FAWM!

Many of my songs reference my struggles with physical and mental health. I have long covid (though thankfully I have recovered enough to live somewhat normally!), C-PTSD, depression & anxiety, and body dysmorphia.

I pull much of my subject matter from autobiographical events, books, movies, and TV shows! My favorite contemporary authors are Stephen King, Iain S. Thomas, S.J. Whitby, Maggie Stiefvater, and Suzanne Collins. I'm currently reading through the Indian Lake trilogy by Stephen Graham Jones, my favorite album currently is "Mountainhead" by Everything Everything, and I just watched the VERY creepy and poignant limited series "Eric."

I'm excited to connect with the multitude of talented and thoughtful FAWMers out here! This is such a wonderful community.

Hi! I started some lyrics for a skirmish you ran back in FAWM, then finally finished them right at the end of February. You understandably didn't have time to do anything with them then. I like the idea of your voice on those words. Would it be OK for me to send them along so you can see if you feel like writing / singing some music for them?

Hey there! I appreciate all your comments, and your songs are amazing. Just wanted to note that I sent you an FB message, in case it got relegated to Facebook message purgatory, lol. πŸ˜‚

Hi, I finally have "The Rich Family" song completed. I hope you like it. My music but I used an AI voice to sing it. I uploaded my voice and then changed it to this singer's voice. I wanted a female singer for it.

I came to your page to thank you for your comments on Sing a Song of Love and Loss...and then I got distracted by your delightful song, Somewhere I Can Breathe. I like the way this works! :)

Thank you so much for your kind and validating comments on "Folly"! I'm so glad the true message came through, and I hate that it's even happening. (And thank you -- I have gotten the Bowie comparison before, and in no way am I mad about it! :D )

Thank you for your kind words. Much appreciated!

Thanks, too, for your thoughtful and kind comment on "Same Angels" -- I am lucky to have a questioning and questing spiritual community whose members make poetry in front of me. I jot it down in my songwriting notebook and twist it in my hands and head and heart -- and songs emerge!

Thanks so much for your comment on "It’s Hard to Fire a Starter in the Rain" -- I have rewritten it in my songwriting notebook to keep some of my favorite lines and drop the title conceit, and maybe it will even get recorded.

Thanks so much for stopping by for a listen. Holy Kansas! You're moving along. I'll be back for more listening!

Thanks for your comment on "Love After Death" β€” I’m excited anyone else liked that line. I thought it might be too cheesy a pun. πŸ˜…
