Happy Sunday, friends! Here's my offering for today: an ode to being sick of spending too much time on my phone, in my head, or in the invisible future. I'd rather stay in the present moment wherever I can, but wow, we don't live in a world that's conducive to that.

This has so much energy, great voice and clean guitar playing driving it all forwards. Lyrics are a great take on modern life and we can surely all relate to that ❤️

This is a kick ass take on a difficult subject. Your sliding cries work really well in expressing the emotion in the words. I like how the accompaniment also seems to slide between dissonance.

Rhe first line of the chorus plays like classic garage rock, and by the time the song is over you have taken us from Riot Grrrl to Ren, using only the tools from Ani DeFranco's acoustic arsenal. There are some fantastic lines here, my favorite being "It took a lot to scrape the glue out of my eyes," but there is a lot more here than just a lot of fantastic lines. I dont know if this is what you meant to say, but what got out ogf it was the crisis of wanting to get out of your own head but realizing there is no place to go.
