This is the first song I co-wrote with my new songwriting client! A tale of reluctant resignation after a too-long period of holding onto a relationship when the other person has already given up.

Ooh this is awesome! Definitely has a great vocal delivery in a style I would listen to just for the heck of it on a drive or a chill afternoon. I love it!

Wow, this is crammed so full of great lines it might explode at any moment! I particularly loved 'I only think in colors' and 'I'm out of syntax and shooting blanks'. The melody on the opening lines is also so so strong, as is your delivery of them. You're clearly earning your worth as a songwriting tutor - well done!

Captures the uncertainty of things perfectly. Great lyrics beautifully performed in an unpredictable melody.

wow thats a different angle on an grand ol topic! so much interest in this lyric all held by that strong guitar and fine vocal!

an unusual way to tackle the break-up song, with allusions to gunfights, party invitations, and a climactic suicide (or perhaps it was just a fast dash out of town) The guitar is simple and propels the lyric, and the singing in wonderfully nuanced, with little surprises in phrasing. in fact, i was so glued to the vocals that I kept getting where the melody would go, and was frequently wrong. that is the test of a superior melody,one that is unpredictible but always right.
