A bit deeper mate, the duo is usually enough! Ar easy to be cool in the good times, it’s the tough ones that test ya! Really nice melody here! Very full song, not much time for a breath!

There are so many songs written about love and relationships, yet you seem to come up with fresh angles and lines Jerry, which puts you in the top bracket and combine that with a sublime pop sensibility...much respect!

terrific melody and vocal. i like the twist at the end of the chorus that turns the title on its head.

When I saw the title, I figured this would be a sad song, so was pleasantly surprised to find something so hopeful and upbeat! Like Susan, I really enjoyed that descending bass line in the chorus. Plus there's some great peripheral elements - the wah guitar, the organ - that keep coming into the arrangement and moving things along. Really nice track!

Such a pretty melody Jerry - I really like the rise in the first and third lines of the verses. Great chorus too - I like the dissonance you created both between the vocals and the track (cool descending bass line there also) , but also the dissonant harmonies. I am enjoying your song for a second listen now - I think it is one of my favorites of yours. Beautiful lyrics also.
