Pounding a melody in the top octaves feels like the right way to express pushing the limits of a situation. With the fast tempo the overall effect is like a rush of excitement.

Very nice atmospheric song. I like the way the mood shifts. The image I got in my head was that this was a tale being told by a ghost who is constantly reliving the love and loss from their mortal life

What a lovely chord progression! The development and change throughout the piece brings you through several different feelings, it gives you a really cool sense of storytelling! Nicely done!!
