Hi again! I appreciate your comment on "Chuck Taylor..." I decided to add the twist of them having met before so the narrator could get that ride home more easily. ;)
Thank you for sharing your interpretation on "That Thing We Do" and noting what worked for you on "The End of Our World" -- it's good to get that feedback.
I'm touched you like the cereal detail in "You Changed My Mind" -- it's one of the better romantic gifts I've received on my doorstep. That song feels like it needs lots of rewriting, but the cereal will stay.
Thanks, too, for your response on "I'll Be Your Bright Place."
YOU SAID: "I am suitably impressed to see you create such a complete and convincing character on short notice."
Thanks. I have a long memory of the awful days of my adolescence. I honestly think that if a genie offered me the chance to go back to being a 15 year old, or else continue on my current road into old age and eventual death, I'd stick to the latter path. The only good thing that came out of all that frustration and pain was I started writing songs and have never stopped.
thank you for your words on "Worm's Return"! I didn't mean for the story to be confusing. Worm is either/or gender, so I was using both male and female pronouns for them. just one main character in the song.
Oh hi.. only letting you know .. I don’t assume that there’s be people for sure but don’t know anyone here who’d light a bonfire for one. But that’s really what I thought was interesting - the possible differences in culture/ environment/ climate and geography effecting us when receiving language. . Obviously this is heightened when two or more cultures share the same language. It wasn’t a criticism
Hi ! Thank you for your comment on a "terrifying chimera designer". (I am late, sorry!) I have to admit "sewing life alchemist" doesn't come from my imagination, it is the nickname of the character in the anime.
Thanks for commenting on Gluten Blues. I suspect it's something different many might not find relatable, but I am glad you understood and were able to relate.
Hey, thanks for commenting on Tango. you're so right - it's hard to trust the wisdom of optimism if it's not your way! Looking forward to hearing your stuff
Hi Rick. Thanks for the comment. I was reluctant to do a skirmish only two hours after finishing another song. My writing is often based on rhymes. It's hard to keep an even tone.
