I'm glad you enjoyed my skirmish prompts!

Thanks for your comments. Pleasure working with you. Looks like you created a lot of good music.
[avatar]
Likewise :)

Thanks, too, for your kind comment on "It’s Weird." :)
[avatar]
Hi again! I appreciate your comment on "Chuck Taylor..." I decided to add the twist of them having met before so the narrator could get that ride home more easily. ;)
[avatar]
Thanks for sharing your "take" on "Take on the Night" -- that's a fun mental image!
[avatar]
Thanks for checking out the lyrics on "To Get Past You" -- I appreciate the comment!
[avatar]
Thank you for the feedback on my skirmish/reunion song. I feel like you get me :)
[avatar]
Thank you for sharing your interpretation on "That Thing We Do" and noting what worked for you on "The End of Our World" -- it's good to get that feedback.
[avatar]
Thanks very much for your comment on "Let It Play" — I appreciate knowing what worked for you in that draft!
[avatar]
Glad you liked my "A Ways from Here".
[avatar]
I'm touched you like the cereal detail in "You Changed My Mind" -- it's one of the better romantic gifts I've received on my doorstep. That song feels like it needs lots of rewriting, but the cereal will stay.

Thanks, too, for your response on "I'll Be Your Bright Place."
[avatar]
Thank you so much for your comment on "A Little Lost." I'm glad the story drew someone in!
[avatar]
Cheers for the comment on "Late night conundrums" - I should have gone to bed but I'm glad to have the song! *laughs*
[avatar]
Thanks for your note on "Point No Point" — yes, I think that’s part of the message.
[avatar]
YOU SAID: "I am suitably impressed to see you create such a complete and convincing character on short notice."
Thanks. I have a long memory of the awful days of my adolescence. I honestly think that if a genie offered me the chance to go back to being a 15 year old, or else continue on my current road into old age and eventual death, I'd stick to the latter path. The only good thing that came out of all that frustration and pain was I started writing songs and have never stopped.

Thanks for listening and commenting "Just a Second". Very much appreciated!

Have a nice weekend!

Catching up on comments — thanks, too, for checking in on “I Can Fly Now.”
[avatar]
Thanks so much for your comment
on "Tomorrow’s Not Too Soon" — I appreciate it!

Thanks for commenting on my fireflies track. I’m not sure I really know what a firefly looks like hence these might be glow worms or something!!
[avatar]
Ah, an original T.Rex fan, eh? To paraphrase the Bible: "Be sure your influences will find you out". Were you also into Incredible String Band?
[avatar]
thank you for your words on "Worm's Return"! I didn't mean for the story to be confusing. Worm is either/or gender, so I was using both male and female pronouns for them. just one main character in the song.
[avatar]
Thanks for listening to "Little Less Sunbeam" -- I was so happy to get to reference that Roz Chast cartoon.
[avatar]
Oh hi.. only letting you know .. I don’t assume that there’s be people for sure but don’t know anyone here who’d light a bonfire for one. But that’s really what I thought was interesting - the possible differences in culture/ environment/ climate and geography effecting us when receiving language. . Obviously this is heightened when two or more cultures share the same language. It wasn’t a criticism

@ayais
Thanks for the comment on 'AI, cat in the pie.'

Hi ! Thank you for your comment on a "terrifying chimera designer". (I am late, sorry!) I have to admit "sewing life alchemist" doesn't come from my imagination, it is the nickname of the character in the anime.
[avatar]
Thanks for commenting on Gluten Blues. I suspect it's something different many might not find relatable, but I am glad you understood and were able to relate.
[avatar]
Thanks for listening to my song. I liked the style of singing/talking too on Easy Street. I will try some more of that later.
[avatar]
I'm so glad you shared your thoughts on "To Have and Have Not" -- I think you nailed it.
[avatar]
@hmstreetteam
Thanks Rick for your work on looking out fir you. Sounds great.
[avatar]
@hmstreetteam happy for you to compose something for .we're looking out for you.... thanks

@hev
Hey, thanks for commenting on Tango. you're so right - it's hard to trust the wisdom of optimism if it's not your way! Looking forward to hearing your stuff
[avatar]
Thanks so much for hearing and commenting "Little Swan"!

@klaus
Hi Rick. Thanks for the comment. I was reluctant to do a skirmish only two hours after finishing another song. My writing is often based on rhymes. It's hard to keep an even tone.

Have a great 50/90 Challenge.
[avatar]
thanks for listening to my song - I think the entire thing needs a remix (as in start from scratch! :D ) , but thanks for your positive thoughts!

Hi there! You inspired another stanza in my Such Weather. Thanks!
