Great song and very memorable chorus, the sentiment is bang on with the warm nights we've been having. The song has a pleasing movement to it all the way, just going to listen again!

From one 'Old Romantic' to another, Jerry...this is one of your finest non-heartbreak songs, possibly the best that I've heard...so heartwarming and endearing...plus the music and vocals are as ever, are top drawer!

Holy hot summer I totally agree! I miss living in Southern CA - the cool nights were always such a treat. Great song concept Jerry, and I like where it led you, and wonderful writing. What a beautiful twist on a love song, beautiful story telling and I love the last verse and the imagery of fire. Lovely melody, vocals and instrumentation - and that chorus is so memorable as well as just the right rise in the song.

We often miss what we don't have: cold nights when it's hot and hot nights when it's cold. Another beautiful nostalgic song, Jerry. Enjoyable singing, playing and atmosphere.
