Nancy probably has a story behind the lyrics for this one. I'm just thankful to have gotten a chance to play with it.

Nancy: This song started when I noticed a Chinese restaurant called Fu Star back in 2020. It seemed like a funny name for a variable in a computer program. Eventually I figured out FuBar might be more fun for the general public. I was happy to finally nail down a lyric and ship it off to Jeff who brought it to life. Imagining a whole choir of drunk people singing along on the choruses.

Fubar is a recurring word in a lot of movies, and originated as the title of a zombie moive that was banned. i thought it was a character in "Blood Feast," but his name was actually Fuad. Nancy brings all these memories back to me in her lyric about all you can eat joints and the kind of eople who regularly patronize them, a character Jeff brings t life in his convincing, down home vocals.

I also came for the title - and I started smiling from the first line and have not stopped. The lyrics are 100% delightful. The nice uptempo and very well done instrumental track keeps things at a nice toe tapping pace. The vocals are fabulous - wonderful melody too - I enjoyed every note of this really fun song!

I came for the title and stayed for the great song and filled my ears up until they leaked! I smiled through this and now have a grin that no napkin will wipe off my face. Love it! "Fu Bar Buffet" is perfect!
