Liner Notes

Instant Movies (just add movie): The Watermelon Fight. My uncle told me of a Roscoe Arbuckle film called "The Watermelon Fight." As far as I can tell, no such film has ever existed, but I can still imagine the movie and make up accompaniment for it. Another part of the inspiration for this is the Laurel and Hardy silent comedy, "The Battle of the Century," which features a pie fight using thousands of pies. Watermelons would be even worse, and I'm not sure anyone could film such a thing without serious injuries to the actors, but in the imagination we can create anything.

I guess this fits the Tempo Change challenge.

You really do a great job of producing tones and phrasing to inspire the "just add movie" reaction. With this one, it's fun to anticipate where the next changes in tempo and dynamics will go.

That works. I remember the Laurel and Hardy movie. I grew up watching a lot of silent films. This song fits perfectly with the idea of a massive watermelon fight! Kudos.
