Just, you know that feeling sitting on your bed and your hands just make a decision, grab the guitar hanging above your head, as set it in your lap at the ready? Yeah, I figured you did.

Do you also know how when you’re playing in C, you get to playing an F and you feel Bb just calling your name? You do? Aw man, we’re just peas in a pod!

But furthermore you know the feeling where Bb wants it’s 7th but the 5th, that F, still wants to go down to E like it did before? So you get a Bb7-5? Oh my gosh, it’s like we’re the same person!

Then do you find that F going to E just wants Eb chromatically? Bb7-5’s 3rd=D wants the same, to move upwards too, but it’s 7th takes a full step down to put you in the key of Eb? Heh, I knew you were with me!

Eb’s got Gm, we’ll get there eventually, to play around with F and…back in the key of C!

I know I didn’t need to say it all, you’ve been there, you’ve done that, right? Right.
