Liner Notes

Like my previous song "Anarchy", I wanted to write a song similar to another one by an Australian band; in this case, "Happy Endings" by Sticky Fingers.

I've never actually heard the song in question, but it came up because the uni band I was briefly in (circa early 2019) suggested learning it.

I took the chords from the song, lookng them up online. Then the topic of a "beautiful evening" came to my head, so I decided to write around that.

The music was constructed on virtual instruments on Mixcraft 8. For the drums I used MT-PowerDrumKit. I recorded the vocals on nTrack 9 using a headphone microphone and imported them into Mixcraft.
