Fire on a Weak End

Liner Notes

#notinstrumental

a song about being on a sporting team.

Lyrics

in a second it's all roses
all over Moses
ohh, we in a line
but my diamonds on a freefall

ain't nobody wishing for a reject
second life lessons
and best to be guess needed

if i was on a line of a sequence
i'd be on a sequel
to be them
to beat them

i got fire sometimes
i got the light
only on the wholest
the host of the holy ghost

ain't no nobody gone need them
to see them
The size of my mind is a fire on the weekend
if ima light another fire then I see them
if i want to lead them
i'm a lead them as believers

write it on the side
it's nice to rise
if it's not, it's gonna be alright

it's all that is needed
when Jesus is on
but i don't know where He's needed
it's like those fires on the freak end

love this new direction in hip hop. The rap is so subdued while the lyrics are burning. and the instrumental arrangement has a sound of its own. this is like nothing ive heard before so i hope you keep in writing and rapping and recording. ill be listening

Love those weirdo vocals.
Great percussion, as usual; tight but loose, if that makes sense.
Lovely use of the guitars.
You keep em short and leave us wanting more.

Really cool stuff. I love the full-band instrumentation, and your flow reminds me of some the cool indie stuff that was coming out of the early to mid 00s like Themselves. Great rhymes too.

What an exquisite mix of weirdness and groove! I'm also getting a lovely cinematic feel.
Listened quite a few times. It's a short piece, but a lot is happening: every instrument tells a little story, while contributing to the bigger story. The vocals are pretty awesome, they add a surrealistic dimension to the track.
Nobody else sounds like this. You're brilliant. <3

Interesting. Makes me think of a cross between Morphine, the Boredoms and Johnny Mnemonic. Cool.
