I've watched a few videos of someone creating oldschool trance music, and they inspired me to do the same, except of course it's half the expected tempo (if not less) and loaded with all sorts of Melody-isms.

This would be more early 90s trance than late 90s trance, though initially I was shooting for the latter with my chord progression, then I mucked it up with my sound design. Also, having it be the former allowed me to ignore lots more jank! :p
