Dead Pixels In The Sky

Liner Notes
I was reading through old XKCD comics, as you do, in the hope of finding inspiration, and I saw this: https://xkcd.com/395/
Well, sometimes I think about the Simulation Hypothesis (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Simulation_hypothesis) and I was wondering... how would we know? Then I started thinking about the jokes we're making now we're in the office a bit more than we have been, about how we're seeing each other in high resolution and so on, and this is where I ended up.
I have no idea if this will make sense to anyone but me, but nevertheless, here's a bit of #nerd_folk, #filk, or whatever you want to call it, on a #baritone_ukulele #ukulele #fuc.
Lyrics
We're back in the real world
We're meeting in person
Outdoors is upgraded to
The latest version
We don't feel any lag while we're wandering outside
We explore the big blue room with the day star shining bright
When in the corner of my eye is a disconcerting sight
It's a dead pixel in the sky
There's a dead pixel in the sky
A dead pixel in the sky
Turn us off and on again, please will you try
To fix the dead pixels in the sky
Zoom has nothing on
This latest revolution
To see my colleagues in
High resolution
The frame rate in the city must be upwards of a hundred
All the 3D models are so beautifully constructed
But something's not quite right, something is corrupted
There's a dead pixel in the sky
There's a dead pixel in the sky
A dead pixel in the sky
Turn us off and on again, please will you try
To fix the dead pixels in the sky
I can hear you loud and clear, no-ones accidentally muted
The realistic lighting is surely precomputed
But is it me or when you look up do you
See adead pixel in the sky
There's a dead pixel in the sky
A dead pixel in the sky
Turn us off and on again, please will you try
To fix the dead pixels in the sky
There's a dead pixel in the sky
A dead pixel in the sky
Turn us off and on again, please will you try
To fix the dead pixels in the sky
The dead pixels in the sky
