After yesterday and bringing my chair upstairs from my basement office into the living room for the next few days while I'm off work, after sitting in it, I noticed and played the track Uncomfortable Chair by @fuzzy , so I was inspired to do a bass guitar led song. Used both my fender (dirty) and my ibanez soundgear (clean) as well as my strat - a parts guitar which I built. And almost an hour after recording it, that one vocal at the end, I'm still feeling in my throat which wasn't in good shape to begin with anyway.

Lyrics

Part 1

Are you sitting now?
I’m sitting here
In a very
Comfortable chair

Are you comfortable?
I’m in a
Comfortable Chair

I hope you’re comfortable
I’m in a
Comfortable Chair

Part 2

I’m so comfortable
You’re so comfortable
I’m in a
Comfortable Chair

I’m so comfortable
You’re so comfortable
I’m in a
Comfortable Chair

I’m so comfortable
You’re so comfortable
I’m in a
Comfortable Chair

I’m so comfortable
You’re so comfortable
I’m in a
Comfortable Chair

You’re so comfortable
I’m so comfortable
You’re in a
Comfortable Chair

I’m so comfortable
You’re so comfortable
I’m in a
Comfortable Chair

This song takes the listener quite the journey, moving from relaxing to intense and punky and maybe even a little bit scary. The transition works very well; I especially like the aggression of the second half, but part of it is that it plays off the first half so well. Cool!

PS. My desk chair is OK, even pretty good--just got a new one a year or so ago.

I'm loving that bass groove.
The minimalist lyrics are really working for me.
Lovely and somewhat menacing guitar workout.
Reminds me of something CAN might do, except that this would have to be like 20 minutes longer.
