Lyrics

Hands are dirty
Sweating profusely
I'm developing blisters
My back is sore
This is cruelty
I can't go any quicker

I'm digging up graves for knowledge or profit
From dusk until dawn and now I'm exhausted
Where is the line drawn?

Muscles are aching
The moon is receding
Why do I work at night?
Covered in dirt
Work is defeating
Holding the shovel tight

I'm digging up graves for knowledge or profit
From dusk until dawn and now I'm exhausted
Where is the line drawn?

Archeologist or grave robber?
I'm not sure anymore
Ethics and lies, what is proper?
History at its source

I'm digging up graves for knowledge or profit
From dusk until dawn and now I'm exhausted
Where is the line drawn?

Very cool intro! I'm developing a blister in my back is sore that's pretty funny. Where is the line drawn. Guitar solo now sounds great. Okay it's over now yeah that is really good TC great job on it

Grave robber of course. But I approve, not that that counts. Knowledge should be gained. Profit has to be there to pay for it all. The line is drawn, erased, redrawn, erased, redrawn....etc. Just pick your society and time to pick the line that suits. Okay, that's the nihilistic ethics. Nevertheless, a serious lyric. As always impressive production.

And to think someone, someday will be doing the same to uncover our century’s artifacts. What will they find interesting or profitable?
Thought provoking lyrics. Interesting production all around.

I dig (sorry) the arrangement here: it has the unusual effect of picking up the odd gothic word or phrase (digging up graves, working at night under a receding moon, cruelty) and delivering it with a spiked fist, then effortlessly running on to sentences like 'for knowledge or profit / from dusk to dawn and now I'm exhausted', painting the picture of an archaelogist whose reality isn't half as sexy as the fantasy of Indy. Quite amusing.

I like the energy on display - there's a kind of scrubbing and scrabbling going on with the guitarwork that fits the theme well. TC's lyrics are philosophical and a nice character study of a man whose extraordinary career is causing him ordinary problems.

Holey moley this one knocked me back into my seat. The music is powerful and the lyrics put me in the hole with the narrator. What a collab!

the music is ravagimg .......of the vocals and lyrics, i like the choruses quite a bit.

It's like a metal version of Indiana Jones. Dr Jones didn't hold with too many of academia's conventions, so I suspect he'd draw the line way, way over there...

And that's, uh, quite a vocal performance there, Juha!

who knew a tune about archeology could rock so hard? 😄 what fun!
