Lyrics

Here I am, my head on the pillow
I can't help but think of you
I miss your voice I miss your touch
As I'm lying here in this room
I'm surprised when I hear my voice
Calling out your name
I think back to the times we had
Wondering if you do the same

I miss the touch of your hand
I miss being with you
Miss the look in your eyes
Miss the way that you move
I miss the way you would call my name
In the middle of the night
But most of all I miss the way
We'd make up after a fight

Eyes wide open in the middle of the night
Just trying not to think
Takes all of my self control
Not to mix a drink
Here I am staring at the clock
Trying to forget
Thoughts are racing all through my head
I've been crying and I haven't slept

I miss the touch of your hand
I miss being with you
Miss the look in your eyes
Miss the way that you move
I miss the way you would call my name
In the middle of the night
But most of all I miss the way
We'd make up after a fight

GYAWS has me stumped. WHat does the acronym mean? I did enjoy listening, and really liked the guitar .

Very powerful song and delivery. Beautiful, sorrowful song. Love lost but never forgotten. Beautiful singing and playing.

That guitar sound wonderful and it's played with such emotion and force. Great sense of longing in the lyrics and vocals. Everything flows really smoothly.

I love the muscular guitar playing underneath the tender heartbroken lyrics. Great performance.

It's a really nice song. Went right up to my top 3 here this year. Really cozy performance and it feels like you put your whole heart into the song. SUPER BEAUTIFUL

Of course you did! Great strong opening guitar! I like the change of pace in the chorus. I love that guitar ala layla roll up. Nicely done.

I missed *your* voice, TC. Strong delivery and I dig the chord choices and melodies. Words are very relatable, so many of us have been through tough breakups, you report on it well. Fantastic stuff my dude.
