I like the rhythm of your strum and the interesting chord changes. Pretty melody - and the repetition on "listen" is very effective. I like the optimism in the lyric, and it comes across in the music as well.

I really like the repetition of "listen" here -- you've used it just the right number of times, in just the right places. I love how we end with the sensory image of the air smelling with rain "and we've been thru all of this before" -- gorgeous.

This is indeed really wonderful- I love the image of a big storm being a good thing, blowing its way right into our hearts... the music and vocal performance brings out all the emotion of the lyric, too- I really like the vocal you're doing here.

Super positive love song. Good use of storm and weather images.
Interesting how your storm is going to be an affirmative experience for your two sailors. Though perhaps we shouldn't encourage them to set off into the coming storm, unless, of course, it's merely a simile for the passion they are about to experience.

There's an optimism pervading this that's unusual for songs about storms; makes me think of upheaval and tumult as something good, as a way of shaking new ideas and possibilities out of a reality that's become stolid and brittle.
