Dangerous love

Liner Notes

Nothing is written in stone: change it, move it etc., etc, etc.... This is intended for a #SingerSongwriter lyric

#needs_music #needs_collab
My goal is to write songs with less words saying more with imagery. It is almost like holding four things and then dropping one and then picking that up and then dropping another one...
I'm playing around with lyrics: I had three books printed of lyric ideas I collected as notepad notes on my phone. It's like 1200 pages. I think I'm going to be here for a while!

Dangerous love

we stole the stars
your breath racing
my heart galloping
people who love too much
fire of sound
sirens, daring
it felt like Paris on our hill
electrifying dangerous love

Will I tell you how I feel?
Words get in the way
you deserve much more
than what I give

Dangerous love
we’re on the edge
reaching the boundaries
tiptoe cautiously
into something I’ve never done before
just feeling safe
listening for the critical alarms

Are we running out of sun?
The remains of the day
Our pot full of mistakes
and a bucket of tears
Make my heart the casualty
Keep my body as prize

B: -
Turning to wiser old men
Leave me in lala-land - I like it here
Let me guess I’m your next sun, moon and stars?
etcetera, etcetera, etcetera

Cool title. Feels like real tempestuous love. I get the feel of the mood from your good choice of words. Sounds personal. Nice write.

Really wonderful write - concise, compelling use of language and images that convey so much! Well done!
