In Bed With His Woman
Liner Notes

I enjoyed listening to a 'confessional' song that Bill White posted recently, so decided to write one of my own although this one is fictional! The Thor reference may also have been influenced by the Avengers films that I've been watching with my sons
Lyrics
In Bed With His Woman
(Verse 1)
There's a big Nordic man
Breaking down the door
By the size of his arms
My god, he's Thor
And I, I, I
I'm in bed with his woman
(Chorus)
That's when I discovered that I'm not a fighter
The better part of valour
Is to run away
Live to not be a fighter another day
(Verse 2)
There's a big angry man's
Broken down the door
He's carrying a hammer
My god, he's Thor
And I, I, I
I'm in bed with his woman
(Chorus)
That's when I discovered that I'm not a fighter
The better part of valour
Is to run away
Live to not be a fighter another day
(Bridge)
In the films it looks so easy
Just to shin down the drainpipe
But if I could give you
Just one bit of sage advice
In the dark
Being hunted
By a guy who looks like Thor
It's not the
Escape plan
That you want to go for
(Verse 3)
There's a big raging man
Running down the stairs
I have fallen in a bush
In pain but he don't care
Cos I, I, I
Was in bed with his woman
(Chorus)
That's when I discovered that I'm not a fighter
The better part of valour
Is to run away
Live to not be a fighter another day
(Outro)
So I ran
And he ran
But I had acceleration
It's hard to run in pain
But I had motivation
So I ran away
So I could live to not be a fighter another day
