I thought “Last First Date” was a fun concept, but I’m still experiencing first dates. My parents were high school sweethearts. They’re still together 33 years later and happy as ever. We have heard many stories, so I thought I’d write a song about their narrative :)

No music yet, and I will probably end up tweaking the lyrics once the demo is up

Very sweet and endearing. The specifics in the picture stanza make the whole thing very real and personal.
