Updated bio for 50/90 2022!
Hi there everyone, I'm Adam, and my pronouns are he/him. I'm a singer-songwriter and composer who is studying choral music education and composition at the Crane School of Music. I sing and play piano, violin, bass, mandolin, dulcimer, and a little bit of guitar and harmonica.
FAWM 2022 was my first time, I was challenged to it by a good friend and fellow composition student. I had a blast and managed to create some pretty interesting stuff in several genres, so I'm back for 50/90.
As a composer, I'm primarily influenced by #rock , #folk , #jazz , #classical and musical theatre. During middle school I wrote a lot of classical music, and in high school I wrote three original scores for student-written musicals at a local elementary school. I have two albums out on Bandcamp -- the first is a "quarantine demos" album I released in June 2020. Although I look back on the songwriting itself fondly, the music production quality is quite terrible. The second is a song cycle I composed by setting some of my grandfather's poetry to music, and released in September 2021. I have not gotten around to integrating any of my material from this past FAWM into an official release, although I have played a few of the songs live at solo gigs! Hoping to release a properly produced and fully released album on all streaming platforms either later this year or in early 2023, with the help of the 50/90 challenge in preparing material of course!
Thanks for keeping this site so wholesome and friendly y'all. Feel free to reach out if you're interested in a collaboration!

the prosecution even brought in the makers of the popcorn machine and ran every possible test on it to see if it was capable of being the starting point of a fire that could wreak so much destruction in so short of time. as they were unable to trigger a fire of any kind in the machine, the manufactuers of it were not asked to testify at the trial.

I liked your comment on @jessicagraae's Banners.

Thanks so much for your interesting, insightful comments on my song Banners. Sometimes, I worry my lyrics are too subtle-so I am glad the last point was received. I’m not honestly sure if the banners come down for Christmas-but it does seem new ones go up around Memorial Day. In my opinion, the banners are part of the pro-war government’s way of justifying and glorifying needless (and violent) death.

Thanks for the lovely comments on Wherever You Go. I do enjoy singing and playing my mandolin.

@lowhum

Hey! Thanks for listening - you can send me an email at: sglinkov (at) gmail (dot) (com) or just put the lyrics on my board. I was thinking to do a simple version with just maybe guitar & voice and then we could pass it around a few times adding instruments. Tell me what you think.
