Happy season of 5090 to all!
I am back in full strength with a few surprises in store.
Looking forward to some great listening and collaboration as always.
You can expect more keyboard works from the Yamaha P-515, and Keyscapes vst’s. Also the Epiphone viola bass, and Martin Backpacker guitar.
Fredonia Grand organ and various Hammonds will also be making an appearance.
Here we go!

Sent you the wav link by email on "Sunday Ride". Just in case you did not get here it is: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1YtQHe-Jnuj1PPLhPkl9OBxUa6FgsBt3E?usp=sharing

Any song there is free for takes (by anyone) and no worries if you change your mind or get busy with something else!

Thanks! Though there are no guitars... only bass.

Wow! That is such a great driving bass groove and great vocals! It really amps up the creepiness factor of the lyric in a wonderfully dark and threatening way! I love it! Thank you!

Thanks!! I would appreciate that!

Thanks for your comment on "Everybody Get Up" -- that was a really fun diversion for me!

Since Heart became mega=successsful, their manager didnt feel he had anything cahllenges left and wanted to sign another band, he saw my bands video and contacted us, listened to our practice session, then returned the next day with a choreographer, to whom i was resistant, I refused to make the same corny moves at the same moments every time i did the song. I should have listened to him, because i recently saw a Heart video in which nancy did a spectacular slide across the stage with her guitar. But i was stubborn and egotistical and in revenge quit the band and moved to boston with the girl who was in the video. I didnt play any music for another 6 years, although i kept writing songs.

Thanks for the invite to collab! I am extremely bad at Garage Band and have no DAW. Usually when I collab with people, which I am still relatively new to, I either write lyrics or they do, and then the other person sets it to music, but I've also cowritten around a shared idea once, and a couple times I've written words and sung over another person's backing track that they gave me as inspiration or just added ukulele and backing harmonies. Not sure how you like to collaborate with people. I have some travel but will work on something if the timing works out for both of us. :)

Hi Michael, sorry, I totally forgot to get back to you regarding your question on my message board: collaboration, yes, very welcome. 😊 Do you have something specific in mind?

Thanks for your comment on “Secret Family Recipes” -- my grandma didn't make lemon squares, but my friend's grandma did, and he gave me the recipe! :)

Thank you so much for your comment on "Practicing Dying" — I appreciate it.

Always down for working with new people! You learn so much from another process.

if you want to collab on it, i would like to think of it as your song so you can take it anyplace you like...and if you get stuck, i could make some suggestions or add something. the chorus i wrote was inspired by your music, but i didnt write it in accordance with the music, so you will have to make changes or devise a melody to fit it. once you have the song laid out, we could work together on a final draft. how does that sound?
